Harden grabbed three rebounds and dished out seven assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +31 in his 30:45 on the floor. He tacked on two steals. Harden went 6 of 13 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Playing without Chris Paul, who is week-to-week with a left knee injury, Harden frequently bulldozed his way into the paint for layups while also keeping hot from beyond the arc. He's hit at least four 3s in each of the first three games while averaging 27.7 points and 8.7 assists.

Harden pulled down three rebounds and dished out nine assists, tallying a plus-minus of +1 in his 37:46 of playing time. He added two steals. Harden went 4 of 14 from behind the arc.
Analysis: It was a heavy workload considering he played 36:24 the previous night, also scoring 27 points, but the Rockets needed his big minutes with Chris Paul sitting out.
Oct. 18 11:06 PM PT12:06 AM MT1:06 AM CT2:06 AM ET6:06 GMT14:06 11:06 PM MST1:06 AM EST10:06 UAE08:062:06 ET1:06 AM CTNaN: - James Harden scored 27 points Tuesday on 10-of-23 shooting as the Houston Rockets topped the Golden State Warriors 122-121. Harden pulled down six rebounds and dished out 10 assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +2 in his 36:24 of playing time. He added one steal. Harden went 4 of 9 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Last season's NBA MVP runner-up put up a stat line similar to his 2016-17 averages in his first game sharing a backcourt with Chris Paul. Harden still saw quite a bit of time at the point in the season opener, so fantasy owners shouldn't expect his assist numbers to take a significant dip if at all.
July 8 1:02 PM PT2:02 PM MT3:02 PM CT4:02 PM ET20:02 GMT4:02 1:02 PM MST3:02 PM EST0:02 UAE (+1)22:0216:02 ET3:02 PM CTNaN: - The Houston Rockets have signed Harden to a four-year, $160 million contract extension, giving him the richest contract in NBA history at $228 million over six years. The Rockets said Saturday the extension will run through 2022-23 season but will not kick in until 2019. That means it will not affect their salary cap this season, so the Rockets are free to continue their roster upgrade. They added Chris Paul earlier this summer.
Analysis: Harden is coming off of his finest season. Moving to point guard for new coach Mike D'Antoni, Harden averaged 29.1 points, an NBA-leading 11.2 assists and 8.1 rebounds and finished second in the MVP race to former Oklahoma City teammate Russell Westbrook.
