He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: A free agent this offseason, Stanton could be at the end of the line if Bruce Arians steps down like he's been rumored to. The 33-year-old certainly hasn't done much to merit a new contract, having completed just 49.7 percent of his passes along with a paltry 5.6 yards per attempt and a 66.4 quarterback rating for the season.
Dec. 25, 2017 9:45 PM PT10:45 PM MT11:45 PM CT12:45 AM ET5:45 GMT13:45 10:45 PM MST12:45 AM EST11:45 PM CT9:45 UAE0:45 ETNaN: - Drew Stanton was 20 of 34 for 209 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Arizona Cardinals' 23-0 win over the New York Giants. He threw two interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Stanton added one rushing yard on two carries.
Analysis: Stanton's first start since Week 10 was hardly a virtuoso performance, though it still rated as an improvement to what Blaine Gabbert had been putting forth. The longtime backup figures to get the call again in next week's finale at Seattle. He completed 24 of 47 passes for 273 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions when facing the Seahawks last month.
Dec. 18, 2017 11:07 AM PT12:07 PM MT1:07 PM CT2:07 PM ET19:07 GMT3:07 12:07 PM MST2:07 PM EST1:07 PM CT23:07 UAE14:07 ETNaN: - Cardinals coach Bruce Arians says he will return to Drew Stanton as starting quarterback for Sunday's home game against the New York Giants.
Analysis: Arians insisted it's nothing against Blaine Gabbert, who started the previous five games, going 2-3. Gabbert was 16 of 41 for 189 yards, lost a fumble and threw an interception in Arizona's 20-15 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

Analysis: It's always possible Gabbert will be bad enough that Stanton gets in, but neither should be a fantasy option.
Nov. 11, 2017 7:57 AM PT8:57 AM MT9:57 AM CT10:57 AM ET15:57 GMT23:57 8:57 AM MST10:57 AM EST9:57 AM CT19:57 UAE10:57 ETNaN: - Stanton suffered a sprained knee in Thursday's game, but did practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The 49ers, however, have said Blaine Gabbert is expected to start in Week 11.
Analysis: The hits just keep on coming for the injury-ravaged Cardinals. This is not a situation of fantasy importance.

He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Stanton added one rushing yard on one carry.
Analysis: Stanton was making his second start since Carson Palmer went down with a broken arm. He next faces a Texans team allowing an average of 8.08 yards per attempt - third-worst in the NFL.

He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Stanton added four rushing yards on one carry.
Analysis: With Carson Palmer likely out eight weeks with a broken arm, Stanton is the short-term starter in Arizona. The Cardinals also could be looking at free agent options.
